Application:
The OWB-3000 machine has been designed for shot blasting of steel plates dimensions:
- width – up to 3000 mm,
- length – up to 12 000 mm.
Advantages:
The design of the machine is closely related to the cleaning technology assumed by us. The technology consists in vertical positioning of plates when they move through the machine. An advantage offered by the technology is the exceptionally small size of the machine chamber and very shallow foundation required to install the machine.
When plates are positioned vertically during shot blasting the problem of transportation of shot is solved by itself owing to the gravity forces.
Simple loading and unloading mechanisms allow to turn a steel plate from horizontal to vertical position and vice versa.
The shot-blasting machine consists of the following units and components:
- working chamber,
- set of projecting rotors,
- set of screw feeders,
- elevator,
- shot separation unit,
- dust extraction system,
- inlet and outlet chambers,
- loading and unloading device.
