Application:
The SRG core shooter is designed for series production of thermally hardened cores in hot core boxes. The machine is adapted to operate with core boxes of vertical parting planes and to make drilled cores, reproduced by inserts introduced from the bottom.
Advantages:
Owing to full automation of core making process, hermetical structure and making use of inventive design solutions operation of the machine is safe and simple. In the SRG type core shooters a mobile shooting head with a perforated bush have been applied. Due to application of a pneumatic-hydraulic system of blocking a core box, high forces of core box closing have been obtained with simultaneous small loading of machine and tooling components during operation. At customer’s request it is possible to adapt the machine to chemical hardening treatment of cores (CO2 process, etc.) and to work with additional side mechanisms of core box closing.
