Application:
The machines of that group have been designed to clean medium size iron and steel castings produced in big series. A chain overhead conveyor solves, to a considerable extent, the problem of transport of cleaned castings between operations. Overhead conveyors of the OWO-500, OWPC-500 and OWP-S1 assembled of reproducible components are designed each time according to Customer’s request. Cleaning is effected in a tight working chamber by shot blasts ejected by projecting rotors. In the OWP-S1 machine adapted to castings of definite dimensions – they are immovable while going through the chamber whereas in others indicated in the specifications they are put in rotary motion.
Otherwise than in the OWP-S1 and OWPC-500 machines in which the cleaning results and capacity are adjusted by changing the conveyor speed, in other shot blasting chambers the time of shot blasting is adjusted and the conveyor moves at a constant speed changing the hanger position by one pitch.
Advantages:
The shot blasting machines of that group work in an automatic cycle and usually one worker only is enough to operate them.
