Application:
The FIP-108 impulse-squeeze moulding machine is designed to make lower and upper mould halves in moulding boxes of inside dimensions 1000 x 800 x 250÷350 mm. The material of castings is all kinds grey or ductile iron and cast steel.
Lower and upper mould halves are compacted according to the below technology:
- gravity feeding of sand into a moulding box,
- low-pressure impulse densification,
- squeezing by low, medium and high pressure per unit area.
- initial compaction,
- main compaction.
The FIP-108 moulding machine guarantees high quality moulds and castings with regard to:
- high dimensional and weight accuracy due to hardly destructive mould breaking,
- uniform distribution of compaction in all mould,
- decreases surface roughness,
- reproducibility of physical/chemical and strength parameters.
The FIP-108 moulding machine is characterised by:
