Application:
Wing mixers are used to make core sand of silica sand with oil binder, resin binder, dextrin or water glass.
Operation principle:
Ingredients are loaded to the mixer in an optional way through a grating lid. A helical mixing arm rotating inside the mixer enforces mutual circulation of mixed ingredients thus producing a good quality core sand. When sand is ready it is discharged through a door at the side wall of the mixer. The mixers are controlled manually. Depending on the location of the discharging door the mixers can be made in A, B or C version. Version A is the typical one. At Customer’s request clearly stated in his order we can supply mixers in B or C versions.
