Application:
The SCH type machines (fluidised-bed drier-coolers) are successfully used in foundries, sand mines, glass-works, construction and food processing industries. They have been designed for drying and cooling loose materials applied in foundry and other industries of max. binder content 4% and granulation from 0,2 to 1,5mm. When a special fluid grid is applied it is also possible to dry sands of granulation up to 4mm. We have three types of drier-coolers classified according to their capacity. Please mind that the machines can be sold as individual driers or individual coolers of sand to be added to the existing drying plants (ex. barrel driers). The advantage of drier-coolers produced by Dozamet Sp. z o.o. over the traditional drying method in rotary barrels is small fuel consumption associated with high capacity as well as very long durability without necessity of using spare parts. Sand drying stations may be additionally equipped with extra equipment for moist sand loading, belt feeders or elevators, and also in buffer tanks and dust collecting filters. The entire sand drying line is controlled by a freely programmable controller of customer-selected supplier. Most often it is SIMATIC-S7 series controller supplied by Siemens.
